The Lodge at Fieldcrest was originally built in 1935 by Herbert William Hoover, son of Hoover Company founder, William H. Hoover. It was fashioned after a favorite Hoover family log cabin resort in Colorado. For years The Lodge was frequented by the Hoover family for personal use and for entertaining visiting dignitaries. Over the years remodeling projects included the addition of The Banquet Hall, a commercial kitchen and three overnight suites.
Today, The Lodge at Fieldcrest is the perfect country setting for weddings, corporate events, educational seminars or any gathering, large or small. The choices are many and include indoor or outdoor set ups.
Banquets, Weddings and other Large Celebrations
The Lodge at Fieldcrest offers a perfect setting for your next special occasion, wedding, wedding reception, corporate retreat, educational seminar, family reunion or other large gathering.
Visitors to The Lodge enter via the grand Reception Room which features a vaulted ceiling, a massive stone fireplace and French doors that access a large covered stone porch offering a lovely view of the Carriage House. The Reception Room seats 80 guests at round tables or 140 theater style.
The Banquet Hall can accommodate 220 guests seated comfortably at round tables or 235 guests seated theater style. It features a post and beam cathedral ceiling, massive antique chandeliers, stage, dance floor, AV and sound system and full length windows around the room for nearly a 360 degree view of the manicured 50 acre estate. Two sets of French doors open out on to a lovely stone terrace – a perfect setting for the exchange wedding vows while overlooking the lush countryside. Wildlife viewing is inevitable!
Total capacity in The Lodge is 280 seated at round tables and 375 seated theater style – capacity can be increased if dance floor space is utilized. During warm weather, even larger groups can be accommodated making use of our lovely outside facilities and grounds.
